Clearly marked and well-maintained trail (except between Russell Park and Jim Hogg Trailheads) all around the lake. 28 mile trek, good for 3 day/2 night camp/hike. Designated primitive camping spots that allow campfires. Seven Trailheads dispersed around trail for parking or short family day trips or jogging. Bathrooms at Tejas, Russell, and Overlook Trailheads maybe more. Your on your own at primitive campsites. Don't expect a challenging trail. Good for families and just getting out in nature.

Love the campground. It’s beautiful. My main problem is the condition of the bathrooms. I’ve been to this campground for many years but for the last two years the bathrooms are gross. What do the volunteers do beats me. They just drive around but seem to ignore the maintenance of the bathrooms. There’s algae of some sort growing in the urinals. The trash cans are overflowing and the bathrooms sink and smell. I use to use them to save my RV tanks for night use only but I wouldn’t even let my dog close to there. I hope that whoever is in charge of the Cedar Breaks Park not only reads this but gets something done before the park runs down. It would be disappointing and sad for that to happen. Thank you

Cant even open a gate at the time it says to be opened. 5x now I've come here when it's supposed to be opened at 8am and it's been 815 usually by the time anyone actually opens it.

We had a great night camping. Good space and fairly wooded enough to feel privacy between spots. Great car camping location. The showers are a little annoying. You have to push a button every minute to keep the water running. Great for water conservation. Not so great when it’s 40 and you’re trying to take a quick shower. We want to come back in the summer with the kayaks.
