Lovely market for herbs and spices. Many stalls caters to the Malay community which many live in the vicinity of the market. Busy market with lots of choices of food items. Also a great place for street photography!

Many household stocks for the coming CNY daily needs. Fresh seafoods like prawns, crabs, fish, cuttlefish, chicken etc are reasonably price and in abundance. Freshly picked groceries and dried goods available here. Remember to bring along your identification to gain entry to the market.

Packed with lunch time crowd but food is good. Parking at lunch time still available due to covid thingy. Must get seat before 1200 hrs otherwise you have to stand and eat or else take away.

Best to go b4 1550 hrs, about 90% stalls already closed for the day. My 1st time going there around 1600 hrs, there's only about 10 to 15 stalls opened, can't have a good taste of the Muslim Food and end up eating "Indian Mee Goreng" from this stall

You can buy fresh vegetables and other groceries from here. Many South Asian traditional food items are here. But it's better going in the morning to buy fresh stuff. Because after 1pm the vegitable are not that much fresh. Fish area floor is bit slippery. Fish are selling as whole. Not as pieces(Some places sell as pieces. But not everyday) So have to buy the whole fish. Price is cheaper than the other place in the Singapore. And almost every shop is taking cash only. So it's better taking some cash. Saturday and Sunday are bit crowded. Even after 12pm also there was queue to entrance.
