I absolutely love the layout but, other than the greens, the course was in abysmal condition. The greens were in good shape but the fairways and tees were just awful. If you play there, just improve your lies everywhere and focus on the nice layout.

Excellent public value as of even a year ago, but boy did it go downhill fast.... greens are nice but they stopped trying with just about everything else. Sad

This course was always one of my favorite in the area. It is in terrible shape, tees and fairways are almost completely gone. Greens are good. Why didnt they water? They have numerous ponds. They charged us 32 for a course that wasnt worth 15. The new owner needs to do something. We wont play there again for this year. What a shame.

Golfed there September 5 2020. I have golfed around the country for 35 years. I have played this course intermittently since it was Deer Run. The course I played on today was in the worst condition of any course I have ever seen or played on in that time for which the owners still had the nerve to charge greens fees. Literally EVERY fairway was a combination of grass less patches measured in yards not feet; sun baked hard pan that was recently soaked with rain that turned it into concrete; surrounded by rough that looked like they were going for US Open length - not as part of a plan but because it had not been cut by a grounds crew(if in fact they still have a gray undos crew) in a long time. The greens were decent once you got to them after manipulating the brown parking lots on each hole that pretended to be fairways. The place was packed so I guess selling embarrassingly substandard value is OK. One last observation - I went inside the clubhouse after my round to use the restroom. They were also substandard. Not clean and no soap in the dispensers that were to the left and the right of a sign admonishing food service employees to wash their hands before returning to work. Yummy. Quite a disappointment from the course I remember and the ones depicted in their Facebook page. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Challenging course. In good shape. I enjoyed the round but played poorly on the back 9. Terrible cart paths. I heard they are doing major renovations soon.
