Cozy little campsite. Not that big luxury, but all you need. Beautiful surroundings and a very friendly host family. Nice and clean facilities. The only little downside is, that there is only two showers. It is highly recommended to rent an electric boat at the campsite and take a trip around the area.

Old, basic but convenient location
Good position and reasonable prices. Unfortunately the place is very bad maintained, shabby on the outside and the toilets/showers are in poor conditions. Taking a shower you can smell everything happening in the toilet next to you...
Rundown campsite with unfriendly, grubby owner. A clear no-stay! There are much nicer places in town.

4 sterren omdat ik van 2 sterren campings hou. Je betaalt weinig omdat het basic is - lees rustig en gemoedelijk en schoon. Geen poespas en met een wat eigenaardig maar vriendelijke campingbaas die er altijd is als je iets nodigs hebt. Er zijn maar twee douches en een afwasstation. Als het druk is zou dat weleens lastig kunnen zijn. Vanaf de camping zie je de zon opkomen over het veen en ondergaan in de weiland. Vanuit je tent of camper stap je ook in je bootje om een in en rondom Giethoorn te varen. Een korte wandeling brengt je in Giethoorn Noord of Giethoorn Zuid. Met warm weer kan je ook lekker zwemmen in het slootje.
Hyggelig camping. Man må ikke have bilen med ind på pladsen da der er meget småt. Gå afstand til både den nye og gamle by.
