I am not the type to write a negative review but feel I have no other recourse. Dr. Tripp has been wonderful over the years that we have been seeing him, so we have no complaint with him. My complaint is with Serenity's staff or business manager. Our health insurance recently changed. Before it changed, we did our research to make sure Dr. Tripp was 'in network' and he was listed as such, along with the other doctors in the office. After the insurance change, I double checked the insurance website, where again Dr. Tripp was listed as 'in network'. I called to make an appointment and was told they don't accept our insurance. I explained that they showed up as in network on my insurance carrier's website and they had no explanation. I called the insurance carrier to let them know, and they said that the doctor's office has to request to be on the list or off the list. They even called Serenity to let them know they are listed as in network. Serenity staff said they would research it and get back to me. I never heard anything from them. I have checked on my insurance carrier's website once a week since then, and the Serenity doctors continue to be listed as in network. But when I call to follow up, they continue to say they don't accept our insurance. Yes, I could opt to do private pay. However, there are other psychiatrists who are actually in network, so I'll be changing providers. My complaint here is a warning to those who think Serenity doctors are 'in network' on their insurance plan. Make sure you double check so you aren't caught unaware.

Dr Tripp is an awesome Dr. My family and kids have been going to him for years. He's always been good and helping us get the help our kids need, especially with medications going to different pharmacies due to out of pocket costs. He's sincere and always accommodating and thoughtful when considering what's best for their mental health needs. I'd definitely recommend him for all psychiatric needs!

Love this facility! Messages get relayed to your Dr right away. Appts are very easily available and ready to schedule. Receptionist is very nice at the Gilbert location. They offer flexible payment plans as well. Have many positive things to say about DR. Thomas Gazda. He has really helped me stay task oriented and tackle some struggles. I would HIGHLY encourage others to attend this facility and recommend seeing Gazda! I am sure the other Psychiatrists are amazing too. Nurses also rock! Thanks Serenity!
I’m so glad I found this place. I moved here from Alabama was very nervous about finding a new psychiatrist. Serenity was recommended to me by a friend. I have seen Dr. Tripp and Dr. La Haie, and they are both great. I have heard great things about Dr. Patel as well. All the staff are very friendly, understanding, and accommodating. A big thank you to all the staff at Serenity!
