I am new to the area and was recommended to Gilliam to support a black owned business. I was thrilled because It has been hard trying to find one here. The appointment process was smooth and the staff was very pleasant. When I arrived, I was checked and asked the normal COVID questions, to which I replied, that I tested over 60 days ago and was not instructed to retest after my 10day quarantine. The young lady politely told me that I could not be seen without proof of a negative test. I told her that I was neither instructed to, by the Health nor was that a requirement that was indicated to me over the phone when I made the appointment several weeks ago and I LITERALLY have just waisted my morning on something that was avoidable. I understand rules and procedures, my issue is with the lack of information available/given to new patients. And now I am waiting on the phone to speak to HR and I've been on hold for 25 minutes.

Upbeat atmosphere everyone works hard and it shows. I would recommend someone who doesn’t have teeth to go and you will come out with all things looking new. The top doc doesn’t need to go to the books to tell you what his vision is, once he explains it to you it all makes sense.

Dr. Connie Bruce-Gilliam, I have never left that clinic without a boost of a positive energy, she puts you on the right path with great advice. The whole staff makes you feel at home, they are very organized and courteous employees. My daughter has been a patient for 8 years, she has never complained. Thank you

I was truly blessed to have Dr. Gilliam as my dentist. I appreciate his patience and time spent doctoring my pain. He worked from 1030AM TILL 6.45 PM on a Friday. God bless this clinic and this family. If my children or grandchildren were near I would bring them here first CHOICE.

Thank you, Gilliam Dentistry from traumatizing my child. I took my 3 year old (4 in two weeks) to Gilliam Pediatric Dentistry for a routine exam. Before I scheduled the appointment, I asked about their experience working with children with autism and sensory processing disorder. Dr. Connie told me they work with special needs children often and they had procedures in place to ensure the child’s comfort. The first red flag was walking back into the exam bay and a child no more than 3 years old was just wandering around by himself. When it came time for the exam, my child sat in my lap and told Dr. Connie and the assistant that he was scared. They didn’t care at all. They held him down while he screamed and just yelled the alphabet in his face. They were incredibly rude. They have no idea how to work with children on the spectrum. After the exam, my son was still crying. He has issues with tastes/textures and the fluoride treatment was difficult for him to handle. Dr. Connie got in his face and told him that she didn’t like kids who screamed and cried and she was tired of listening to him. He wasn’t allowed to pick a toy like the other kids. To top it all off, we were babysat while in the consult room because they made it abundantly clear that they thought I would leave without paying. Our experience couldn’t have been worse.
