I parked at the small free car park for Motney Hill Reserve. Berengrave Nature Reserve was very close by and a short walk. Perhaps it was the time of year but it was rather overgrown to the point some paths were impassable. There was a fair amount of litter and dumping evident which made it an eyesore. Some paths were quite picturesque as I primarily went to take photos. There are much better views at Motney Hill and Floors Wharf.

Sturdy boots and a good sense of balance needed here if it's a visit after it has rained. Very quiet for a walk even with more people out and about during another lockdown.
It is a nice walk with different wildlife but is absolutely full of litter everywhere. Lots of plastic bottles, glass and all sorts all over the reserve. This picture was down by the lake. I filled up 2 bags worth from the benches at the top but ran out of room as there was so much.
A quiet wooded shady spot. Floods in the winter so beware. Amazing tree structures a bit like Florida! Interesting local history of cement work and links to the river. Nice walk from free car park near Bloors Wharf.
Where google took us had a footpath with two dead ends - not sure if because of current flooding. I'd head to riverside park nearby instead.
