Only been there for the comedy night, which was great. Fairly small venue.
I attended one of the coffee experiences that Matthew runs at cool beans, we had a great evening learned a lot about the coffees and how to make that perfect drink. I have also been to the shop on a number of occasions for coffee, cake and a chat with friends. Would defiantly be recommending them and be there again real soon.
Really nice place for that informal bite to eat. portions are a little small for those with a big appetite but meals are perfectly cooked and service definitely is with a smile.

We came to your bistro yesterday evening... a lot of us for a Christmas meal.. we sat down and the tablecloths were wet?! I had ordered the soup, chestnut with croutons, it had been changed to carrot and coriander, don’t like that, and especially as been looking forward to it.. changed to prawn cocktail as the pate had also been changed to salmon and avocado, it came (eventually) and there were 3 prawns with a little bit of lettuce, no brown bread and butter! People with soup had to ask for bread, pate came with bread not toast... We then had a long wait for main our course., dissapointing again, tiny bit of turkey, 2 roast potatoes and had eaten most of this by the time the veg came! The sprouts were obviously frozen and watery, carrots much the same, gravy thin and watery, no stuffing or anything. Then came the sherry trifle which consisted of three pieces of tinned fruit cocktail, tinned custard and squirty cream with no sign of sponge cake or sherry... just awful... people that had the wine said it was awful, I asked for sweet martini with tonic, I got dry martini and a bottle of Tesco low calorie tonic... the serviettes were 1 ply and we had to ask for them and ask for Salt and pepper... we were told they had been out for the day and had not got back till 5!! We had been booked for lunchtime but this was changed to evening as they were going out! Would have thought that their business would come first... we were 16 local people trying to support a local business ..... well not anymore.. have one star for chatting with friends, certainly nothing else!!

Really dissapointed booked table for 4 from groupon rang the shop the day purchased voucher booked for 10th oct for a friends birthday treat have now had to find another place with just one day as now they are saying not open on a tue will not even try this place now they have left me right in a delema just as well rang to find out if we would be able to purchase sandwixhes with our cream tea so dissapointed
