Dave had reupholstered a large sofa for us, years ago and I was very happy to return to him to have our dining chairs subject to his excellent skills. They had been mullah'd by 20 years of living including five years of toddler grandchildren! Each and every one of the chairs has been reupholstered with a contemporary patterned chenille more in keeping with the rough and tumble of little ones, all six to the same finished look. The chairs were way beyond their best upholstery wise and D C Upholstery has worked their magic in time for me to enjoy a 'new' set of chairs for Christmas. Definitely one for the address book! I would recommend Dave at D C upholstery. I chose him as was local and had good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. Price was reasonable, old fashioned gentleman who knows his skills inside out. Had 2 seating cushions re-plumped as opposed to buying a new sofa and pleased I did. It is now more comfortable than when I first bought it. He had it all done and ready for collection within a day.

Unfortunately my daughter telephoned this gentleman who she found rude to her. I called today after a referral from someone else who had retired and although he said he could cover cushions he couldn't do caravan cushions. Not sure why it is still a cushion but for his attitude on the telephone I wouldn't recommend him.
