After living in Medway for many years and changing GPs a few times I can only say good things about this practice. Dr Jana is thorough, he addresses each concern entirely. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and always try to accommodate where they can. I hope Dr Jana doesn’t retire for a very long time!

We took our 2 year old daughter to see Dr Jana on Monday 9th December because her eyes were very red. We suspected conjunctivitis because she has had it before, and we were extra careful because of our 10 month daughter. Dr saw our daughter and said it wasn't conjunctivitis and she was reacting to a cold and for us to use SALT and WARM water to wipe her eyes. He didn't prescribe any eye drops for our daughter and we were not happy with his recommendations. Aftef leaving Dr Jana and unhappy with his silly recommendation, we called 111 and after explaining her situation they recommended we take her to a walk in clinic and nearest opened one was Isle of Sheppey walk in clinic. This was over 20mins drive from our home, we got there and as soon as the doctor saw our daughter he said its conjunctivitis and recommended eye drops. He also mentioned we take extra caution with our other daughter. As a family with children , we would not recommend Dr Jana because this is not the first time he has overlooked things like this. I don't write reviews but this really got us annoyed at Dr Jana level of service.
When I started to live in the area, I was registered at a different doctor. As a family we thought we would be better placed all being at the same surgery. The staff we extremely welcoming and helpful during the transition and assisted with the required paperwork. We have now been with Dr Jana for about a year and have had nothing but good experiences from day one. Friendly and professional staff on reception, the nurses are great and Dr Jana is a very empathetic and quality doctor. I would recommend this surgery all day long.
