These pics are from the field of fire entrance near the end of Longhill Avenue. You get an hour's parking on this road, with some very lucky properties on the opposite side. What an awesome view you get standing on top of Chatham from this side of the park. There is a gravel path all the way to the memorial from here which we could not reach today but will be back again.

Lovely walk, nice sunny day, park very clean and tidy
Fantastic place of remembrance. An honour to live near it and it really has some very special views both from it and if you know where to look of it.
Nice and big open spaces for my dog. Very well maintained and nice and empty!
It's s large open space some parts are left natural and uncut throughout summer and most is kept tidy and cut a few times of the year. Large area is also used for football pitches and is popular for park runs and football training at weekend. It includes a large monument to those who are remembered as war heroes.
