Can't see the doctor despite being in 24/7 misery and pain. Have been trying for a year to get her attention. Never keeps appointment times, always late when you get to see someone there and they like to call extra early before appointments so you miss them and then can't get through to try and speak to someone again. Don't even get me started on the gatekeeping receptionists, honestly you're better off dropping dead than even trying to get help.

I've recently joined this Doctors surgery and I'm so glad I did. The ladies on reception are wonderful, extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. My midwife told me I needed a prescription and I was able to collect within an hour of phoning them. Excellent service, lovely doctor as well. Thank you.
Used to be good, but now staff seems very careless of patient problems. You can literally call them up in tears that your mother might die and that you are urgently require help. They will respond with 'what do you want me to do', well something you are the doctor. This is very sad, as because NHS is free (even though still funded by the tax that we pay) it seems like a reason to treat patients very badly. At this point it is literally easier to fly to another country and get things done. Very upsetting that in difficult times you are left on your own.
Was a good surgery but in recent years don't care about patients wellbeing. Very poor service the last two years.
My husband and I cannot fault this practice. We are both with Dr. Eve Schirrmacher who we have known for many years and is a brilliant Doctor. Last year my husband was very ill and our Doctor was unavailable so he was seen by Dr. Thackeray another excellent Doctor at this practice. The Receptionists and the Nurses also do a brilliant job and are really helpful and caring. We would certainly recommend this practice to everyone.
