Great atmosphere, attentive staff, tasty food and good beer. The premises is COVID compliant giving the satisfaction of feeling safe. We were welcomed, checked in and registration taken for free parking before being shown to our table for a comfortable stay. Ordering is by table service or by app. It is very easy stand up - mask up; sit down - mask down. We will return.

Good service, nice food . Posh fish and chips , seabass and steak and black sheep ale pie . You can park in the car park and just put your registration number in the screen inside free parking.

Great place to eat and drink, had a good lunch yesterday and very friendly staff. The food is well cooked and the service is quick. I was impressed by the menu as it was very comprehensive with all the pub favourites and a good selection of vegetarian options. After our lunch the manager came over and explained how the pub operated and the offers available.

Very good, spent the afternoon as a treat from my nan, had a very nice time. Highly recommend the Aberdeen Angus burger but I would of liked the other half of my chocolate fudge brownie. . I did tell the waitress. but she took it as a joke. Although it was very nice.

Food burnt to a crisp, moved my son because he had a high chair and wasn't aloud on a booth despite them originally sitting us there. So they crammed us onto the smallest table ever. Had two different waiters in total, confusing us. Attempted to pay and then got abandoned so went to bar to pay in the end. Poor table service. Not normally one to leave bad reviews, but I could've stayed at home and burnt my food for cheaper.

I haven't been since it changed hands, I was pleasantly surprised! I felt safe there re covid, tables are well spaced out. We ate from the lunchtime menu which was very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered and paid on my phone. I will definitely return. 1 star deducted due to the outer convenience door has been removed...which means when people are drying their hands....you hear the dryer machine...it's loud! Why remove the door? Makes no sense? Anyway...thumbs up from me

Great service and food. I’ve had the prawn cocktail twice and it’s lovely. Definitely recommend the sea bass as well the nut free pesto which comes with it is delicious and the puddings are great. The apple crumble pie is a must to try. Looking forward to going back again soon . Went about a month ago first time eating out in a restaurant- great adherence to COVID guidelines and staff really made effort with children .

Been a couple of times now and always had nothing to complain about. Had the mixed grill today, usually avoid anything with chicken when having pub grub as its always dry. Was surprised today as it was actually moist. Bangers were spot on too!
