Have used this takeaway numerous times and the food is always good. But do not order on Christmas eve. Ordered at 6pm to be told would be about an hour and half to two hours for delivery. That was just about OK.. Half past 8 still no delivery so phoned again. Told sorry would be 10mins. 8.55pm still not here. Phoned again. Told it would be 15 minutes. I asked if this was definitely the case as been given two delivery times which have not happened. Was told the delivery times were estimates?? Leave you to make your own minds up if they were fair 'estimates'. To the owners just tell us the bloody truth so we can then make a balanced decision. For one night of obviously placing making as much money as you can over customer service you have lost a very loyal customer tonight.

I wasn't going to name and shame but actually am now as they treated me badly... When I rang them about my free Wood Louse (peabug!!) in my curry sauce, I was told that I would get 10% off my next order and they would send me another curry sauce out, I told them that the curry sauce was all over my dinner and I wanted a new meal, which they agreed to but would be about 30 mins. I asked them to try and make it quicker as I was by this point pretty hungry. So 35 minutes later it arrived. The driver whom I had no problem with explained that the shop had asked for the whole delivery back, to which I explained that everyone else had eaten theirs. So he had a big bag of food and was picking out the bits which I had on my plate which turned out to be from the wrong order. My nephew had ordered a Chinese earlier in the evening from them before we decided to have the same. I then had to literally get my plate to prove that I had a chicken chow mein as he didn't believe me! Then I was told it was my fault as I didnt tell them about the earlier meal! So it ended up with me having the whole bag of wrong food and not even an apology from the shop about a BUG in my food or a rushed delivery and a lousy (pun intended) 10% off!! So Silver Sea, your crappy customer service has lost you 2 families worth of business!! I certainly do not agree with the 4 delivery charge on Just Eat orders either!

Placed order via Just Eat at 7pm to be told delivery will be 8:30pm- fine obviously busy as it's a Saturday. Called 33 times first time round finally got an answer to be told it was just being bagged and will be 20 mins. Half hour past still no food! Rang another 15 times to be told again the driver is on his way and offered a 10% discount. OK so 3rd phone call to actually be told our food was still there and had not even left! You can never speak to any management just the poor young girls who are left to sort it all out. They finally offered a 50% refund and our food was on the way.....hooray! Guess what NO FOOD WAS DELIVERED!!! ABSOLUTELY SHAMBOLIC!!! Will never order AGAIN!

Terrible service. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I ordered food at 18:30. It’s nearly 20:30. I’ve had no calls of apologies for waiting for nearly 2 hours, no food, this was meant to be the kids dinner and their service is appalling. THIS IS THE 3rd TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. NO COMMUNICATION WHAT SO EVER.

The food is really nice however this is the 7th time I've ordered from here and the food has been late and I don't mean mean by 20 minutes I mean by should have got the food at 7.55pm and its now 9.38pm and I'm still waiting.
