I love the beach perfect for a tourist spot!!! During in Midst of April the tide of the sea/wave is very big.

The first time I visited this island was for our school work and it wasn't commercialized yet. Now, there's a big signage with the island's name, a restaurant with live band, and a proper docking area. You'll have to pay extra though if you wish to swim near the docking area. Be wary of sea urchins though and also there are a lot of tourists swimming/snorkelling on the same spot.

Had an outreach program at Cordova Elementary School with Laag Bisaya Team last weekend. The island is peaceful and great place to relax, chill and play with the kids and locals ️

A beautiful Island to experience the local culture, seeing the local people's homes and of course swim/snorkeling. I was fascinated with the name GiluTongan as if you take away the 'GILU" you end up with the 'Tongan" - that is me from the Kingdom of Tonga. Is there a connection here? Maybe Polynesian people has roots in the Philippines.
