The school is a name-sake of the barangay itself. The barangay overlooks Palapay bridge. The school has been relocated for geological reasons. It former location is by the stiff cliff on which it is hazardous for habitation. Landslide may occur at anytime. Mareover, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources declared that the former school location is prone to landslides.

Libon is a clean, quite place. It has rice fields, coconut trees, and other fruit trees. The elementary school is spacious and their classrooms are very clean.
