A great fish supper from the carry out restaurant. Fish and chips were freshly cooked while you waited. Staff were friendly and polite from entering the shop when the order was tajen to service of your carryout. There was a great portion of chips along with two battered fillets of haddock. If you are hungry and wanting a fresh meal then the Marine Fish Restaurant in Girvan is the place to stop at.

Freshly made, piping hot fish with potato 'snacks' (fritters) and a black pudding supper. Absolutely delicious.
Firstly I'm not a local but I do review everywhere I go to. Usually when I've been to 2 in the same place unless they are totally rubbish or very good, then I'll review instantly. So this is my 2nd visit to a chippy in girvan....Harbour and Marine. Harbour too expensive and quality isn't actually great, small portions. Marine good portion size and most meals 30p at least cheaper and tasted fab.... Burger supper both chippys
Excellent as always and well worth the trip. Huge nostalgia rush from a happy childhood after a long day making sandcastles then off to the Marine for a sit down fish tea..yum.!. All that was missing was the curtain at the \hatch\.
Worst fish and Chips I‘ve ever had.
