Chaplin has variety of drinks to choose from. It's a very good place to hang out on weekends with your friends. Drinks are moderately expensive. There are live music performances and DJ in the basement. The music is average.

I came from London to Gjøvik for business today. I'm staying overnight and then back to Oslo and was looking for somewhere nice to eat. Chaplin was recommended to me and after experiencing Egon I was thinking it would be not worth the money. How wrong I was! A simply fantastic experience, from the venue and staff to the out of this world food. I would compare the quality to the top rated restaurants in Aker Brygge and London but a quarter of the price. Chaplin is a little gem. Can't wait to go back.
