It's a nice walk with a clear path but you can also go into the forest ,very good for dogs.

Lovely walk around the lakes & then the whole forest road. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend.
A fantastic walk. Parking at the first car park made a 6 mile round but much shorted walks are possible by driving further into the forest. Two lakes are in the forest and there are great views.
Beautiful scenery, lovely boardwalk around the perimeter of the lake with outstanding views. Plenty of spots to have a picnic
Lovely place to relax
Great place for walk or picnic with kids. You can have it at both lakes. Nice path for walk around upper lake. Easy access for families with 4 kids.

The park has beautiful scenery and lovely walks. Some of the boards are bit broken and a few have quite a big step up and down them. A great place for a picnic on a sunny day!
