It’s been two years since our trip to Scotland but we still remember the gentleman who guided us through the house and introduced us to Margaret Macdonald. Thank you for your passion Sir, we will always remember that visit! ️

If you are a Rennie Mackintosh fan you do not want to miss this. It was recreated at the Hunterian Museum at the University of Glasgow.
First time I've visited despite being a student despite being Glaswegian and didn't even know it was here despite being a student at the university many years ago. The Mackintosh House is a house museum that was the home of famed Glaswegian architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh between 1906 and 1914. Although not the original, the museum has tried to recreate the original based on the original Mackintosh designs. As you can imagine, the house is just infused with Art Nouveau throughout and the living room is simply amazing with it contracts of lightness with the much darker furnishing. The entrances is a bit expensive for not much more than a half hour visit. Safe to say that's the building would be a fantastic visit for Art Nouveau or Mackintosh fans.
Worth the visit if you love museums or a fan of Mackintosh
Really great place. The staff were lovely, it’s a pitty that you can’t take aby photos, but the feeling to be there satisfied me enought :)
