Love this place. Sabbath morning is the best time to go, we enjoy our time in nature and good hike. Very peace full and not too many people come by because parking is limited. There are a few picnic tables and a nice little half circle fire pit for group meetings. “Ones Destination is Never a place, but a new way is seeing things” -Henry Miller

I love big Dalton Dam! I love it so much I got married there The scenery, greenery, wildlife, the trails are well-kept, and the people who hike there are friendly. I take my children there at least once a week

This is a real campground that is open for general public use. Most of the reviews here are for the general area, not the campground itself. The campground has picnic tables, a pit toilet bathroom, sink, and amphitheater. Best part is that it has a water fountain too! (I even checked it and it works!) I checked online and it's expensive to camp there, you essentially rent the entire campground. There are hiking trails of different levels all throughout the area. Most of the trails are short but you can connect them to make a longer hike. The "campground" is a good place to take a break.
