My dads local before he passed away. They did both my parents funeral tea. Very good and friendly staff very compassionate and sensitive for the occasion
A great pub that is still friendly whilst coping admirably with the COVID-19 restrictions.
Top marks, lovely meals, brilliant staff, booked again for next week, (here's hoping) 5 stars
Went for lunch even though we didn't book a table we still got seated. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Received a large plateful of food, definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Was advised by staff to book a table next time as they are very busy.

Really friendly staff and a great ethos for a local pub - they are working hard to make a it community venue not just a place for hardened locals and no one else. Food is served Thursday-Sunday; we've been for meals quite a few times now and enjoyed everything - all at reasonable prices too. If you're dining, you have to try the fudge cheesecake! Very welcoming to families with lots of events too. A really nice wee pub.
