Just recently got a suit taken in and Annie and Brian did a fantastic job. They taught me some new things on what to look for in the future. I was absolutely floored by their customer service. I actually had an appointment at another tailor set for the day after which I ended up cancelling after my first interaction with Brian and Annie. They will be my go to spot moving forward. Growing up, my grandfather was a tailor. He was featured in GQ magazine in the 80’s. He tailored suits off of 32nd street in NY. That being said, I am very particular about who alters my suits. Glenwood South’s team always comes through for me, in fact they are the only people I trust with my suits and sports jackets. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have them here in Raleigh!! My husband is a large muscly man and finding clothes for him is a challenge. Everyone at glenwood south tailors was so hopeful especially the owner Brian. He has an eye for personally designing men’s clothes. He listened to what we wanted and gave fantastic suggestions. We did a bespoke suit for our wedding and had so much fun picking everything out! We have since been back many times for bespoke shirts. We are always excited to go back, and we will be life long customers.

I brought my wedding dress here for alterations and they did a really amazing job and went above-and-beyond. Throughout the process Brian and Ellen were great at explaining what needed to be done and explaining different options (such as bustle options). Alteration appointments were enjoyable--they have a great rapport with customers. My wedding was unfortunately cancelled/posponed due to COVID. As NC entered phase 2, some last-minute elopement plans materialized. Although Glenwood South Tailors had just reopened a the Friday before my Sunday elopement, they worked extra hours and rushed some alterations so that I could wear my actual dress on the day. I knew this was a bit of a long shot, but everyone there was so accommodating and understanding for a pretty out-there request. On day-of dress looked perfect. I couldn't believe how much they worked with me to accommodate my actual wedding dress for a mostly last-minute elopement. I had a weird experience due to COVID, but I would totally recommend Glenwood South to anyone getting wedding dress alterations!

They finished my dress in 2 days, and it came out flawless. The owner made me feel at home from the start! I’m already planning to go back and get more things tailored. I've used Brian and Glenwood South Tailors numerous times to tailor my suits and dress slacks, yet I just took the plunge on a bespoke sport coat. The process was managed well--Brian met with my wife and me to understand what I was looking for, take measurements and select the fabric--and we are both very happy with the final product. It fits amazingly well and looks great, plus I've already received a complement on it!
