I started my scouting journey with 11th Gloucester (Hucclecote), way back when. I have now gone full circle and am the chair of the committee. I can sincerely recommend scouts as great way to learn new skills that you won't learn at school, make new friends, build independence as well as teamwork. Research by Edinburgh and Glasgow Universities also found that being part of scouting is beneficial later in life!
