This is a wonderful place to check out an amazing and whimsical house that was designed by an eccentric architect who kept on adding rooms over the years. It is on the water so there are also gorgeous views of Gloucester Harbor. He also collected many cool things which are on display. During Covid you need to make a reservation and they only take a small group until the pandemic is over.

This was simply amazing!! Well worth the cost in my opinion. Make sure to let them know if you have AAA. You get buy one get one free ticket! The house is expansive and unique. It's actually not really old but it looks much older due to the design tastes. The docent was knowledgeable and did a great job leading our group through. Before and after the tour you can spend some time walking around the beautiful grounds.

Beauport is a gem. If you love old houses by the sea, great design, amazing detail and brilliant color, don't miss this. I was here years ago and couldn't get it out of my head. So great to be back.
