My son Frankie goes there and has been going there for 2 years. You won’t find a more knowledge owner or a more caring environment. I cannot say enough great things about this location. Sensei Fort is an amazing teacher and taught my son Frankie so much confidence and discipline, I’m so happy to be a part of this wonderful martial arts program and will continue to bring my son to learn more and more!!!

Douvris Martial Arts is AMAZING! I just wanted to take the time so say how amazing Douvris is. My son has learned so much about respect for himself and others. Athletically he has improved so tremendously. I have also seen an improvement in his confidence too. The Staff at Douvris is amazing, always there to address any questions or concerns you may have. Fortunato is an awesome instructor. He’s great with the kids and teachers them from the heart. If you are looking for an incredible Martial Arts program......look no further. This is where you want to be.

With our son now living out on his own, I can’t thank Douvris and especially Sensei Fort for being part of the man he is today. Our son went to Douvris Riverside South from the day they opened their doors (he was only 7) until he was 15. Not only did he earn his black belt with this dojo he learned to persevere through challenges. He learned that it takes time to develop the skills required to earn the various belts and he learned the confidence to face his problems head on. Through both his words and actions, Sensei Fort was definitely a role model, not just for our son, but for all the children. As a parent, I loved the discipline that Douvris provided and I love hearing our now almost 19 year old communicate how much he grew as an individual. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
