I would not recommend this energy provider. I inherited the service when i moved house and thankfully i have now changed providers. The very first thing my new provider did was call me to explain that my meter readings did not make sense and spent a considerable amount of time explaining how to read the meters etc. I am still in dispute with EDF over an extortionately high bill for one month (new energy provider agrees that it would be impossible for one person to wrack up a bill of that magnitude in a one month period and were shocked that they went ahead and billed it rather than calling to check the figures were correct). The are quick to demand money yet incredibly slow to respond to any enquiries. Not impressed with them at all - it has now been 9 days since my last communication with them without even an acknowledgement from them.

The worst company, very expensive with their extra hidden charges. I wl never ever use them again.

As a person who has been with the energy supplier for a long long time all I can say is that it was the best move I had made. I cut my bill by a grand figure of 800.0 pa by moving to edf energy as my supplier, and I have to say that I have never looked back ever since.

Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible service all around and patronising and rude call centre staff.

If anyone asked me for a good Energy company , I would never advice them to go with EDF Energy. Our house was standing empty and on the market to be sold for a year and three months and yes they did bring the monthly payments down a bit during that time but when we worked out over the year and three months what it had cost us, it was approximately 70 per month for an empty 3 bedroom house and we can’t see how this could be possible
