I love how it's been built up now and is a real place where people live in the warehouses alongside the boats. Can't wait for the eateries and cafes to reopen after lockdown and the fayre/fair to come back

Loved the history and buildings here, particularly liked the sailors Chapel which you could go in. You can park right next to part of the docks , flat walking . Wasn't too dear to park, we Followed sat nav for parking. shame about the rubbish people drop. we did litter pick even though we were visitors!

The former dock estate has become a popular free destination where visitors can enjoy interesting views and a range of modern facilities while wandering around a remarkably complete example of a Victorian port. Views include many fine warehouses and other dock-related buildings that have been found new uses. Where ships once discharged their cargoes, there is now an ever-changing miscellany of visiting narrow boats, smart motor cruisers and the occasional yacht or tall ship. The whole area is suitable for wheel-chairs.

An interesting place to visit, quiet during Covid but lots of shopping and eateries too, will return in better times.
