Very average pub/restaurant. Drinks reasonably priced as was good but you get what you are paying for here. It's a shame as some items could be a little better without using any more ingredients or stock just presentation and layout which would make it good value at that point. Very pleasant staff who were always smiling and very happy. Welcomed at the door and was given Covid safe protocol.

First of all, this is a typical english pub. And I never expected such a place to have so many vegan options. They serve the moving mountains burger, and many other options which were very acceptable. The service is not very good, you have to pick up your food from the counter and it took them ages to prepare it. I’m giving them 3 stars as I’m glad to be able to have so many vegan options in this kind of pub. Thanks guys! But I think you should improve the service...
Went into today for lunch, first I must say how nice to see cheerful and very helpful staff. The food was very nice , also great to see a dog friendly part of the pub. One thing I think Marstons should change policy on the card machines, as now people are not carrying cash so much there should be a choice to put on a tip on, as staff are having to work twice as hard .
great meal here for 2. carvery and mega grill too much to eat ,great staff serving tables under very hot conditions so hats off to them bar staff were a bit offish but it was hot in there today. gt, value for money
Fast and attentive service. Clean and well presented restaurant. Food was excellent. Great price too.
Since moving to Gloucester, the High Orchard, made us welcome,each time we have been back always a cheerful welcome, and the food always good, no complaints at all, at a good price. Also serve a great pint of Bitter at a good price. Looking forward to returning after lockdown.Chreers . 4.5 stars.
