I have been a patient at hope house since 2010. The staff are excellent and always go the extra mile to help where they can. You might have a slight delay with appointments, but please remember they do have a lot of clients to see and they are stretched. I have to say that some comments on here are at best complete rubbish. Staff are here to help you through your journey and they do their best. Big thank you to all who have helped me on my journey over the years.

Awful that they will not help you if you are over 25, even when you have been referred to them by your GP as no-one else can help you. I am now stuck with no-one able / willing to help me.

Is kinda sad that NHS say to act swiftly if you feel you have been put at risk, that is all well and good but you can never get through to these at hope house. I lived in other counties and find Gloucestershire is really poor (to the point they are seriously risking people's health) at offering services compared to other counties.

I see Lead Therapist Sandy, for councilling, - she is absolutely lovely. Her knowledge and understanding of the situations I have been though is amazing. She is warm hearted, kind, patient, and has helped me so much. The entire HIV team is brilliant - the HCA’s, Nurses, Doctor, pharmasists (and Therapist Sandy obviously) all of them, deserve the Medal Of Honour for the treatment and care they provide. We are so lucky to have them. Please make this review public (anywhere) because if we were to lose the services at Hope House it would be a disaster. Thank you to all of you.

Rang first thing at 8:30am and I was told only the nurses are able to book appointments and to wait for the nurse to call me back. The nurse rang me once but I was held up in a meeting. Rang Hope centre back and receptionist told me that the nurses will call three times before giving up. I have not yet received a call back and I have been in queue for 30 mins to speak to the receptionist again. This is supposed to be a place where you can be seen quickly not the complete opposite.
