Shambles from start to finish they shouldn’t be allowed to run a business like they do. I had a query on an invoice HSS sent to me, they added additional charges which were not part of their quotation or my order. Sent 4 emails to accounts with no response- they still managed to send threatening debt recovery letters. They have added over 1000 worth of additional interest to my original invoice for the late payment. If a someone from HSS would have responded to my first email the invoice would have been paid on time so I’m stuck with 1000 of additional charges because no one could be bothered to respond! My first query email was at the begining of Sept 19 and I still havent had a reply. Every time ive rang im told someone will call back! they never do. I would certainly not ever recommend this company, half the kit they send never works either and will more than likely arrive late or the day after you need it.

Picked up two stihl saws both packed up had not been cleaned filters blocked looked clean on the outside but filthy dirty inside got a replacement and that was the same
If your looking for an honest reliable company DO NOT use HSS. When a job is held up because of access equipment not coming in , even when reassured the previous day it would be ready for collection, that just isn’t good enough. Especially when the manager lies and says “I said it wouldn’t be in till lunchtime” If the company was honest and apologetic I would not find it necessary to leave this review.. Worst hire firm I have ever used. Forgot half the order, had to go and collect it myself then double charged me for the hire and the delivery. Manager completely ignored me when I turned up and no one offered any form of apology. When I queried the double charge they asked me to "Pay it and we will credit it back" Yeah OK - Complete cowboys. Avoid
