One star too much... I ordered some fabric worth over 350 eight weeks ago and despite my best efforts to contact Kingdom Interiors, they have not responded or sent me my order. They are either completely incompetent or have ceased trading. I am currently in the process of taking them to the small claims court in the hope of getting my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR GOODS!

I'm writing this note on behalf of Fabric Gallery & Interiors of York. We have had several customers approach us in recent weeks with problems identical to those reported here. Sadly we cannot solve the problems with Kingdom (that might need Trading Standards or legal help), but we have helped as best as we could to get the fabric or wallpaper that the customers failed to receive from Kingdom. At least we were able to help people continue with their projects. If you need help or advice please feel free to contact us. Even though we are about to end our Spring Sale, if you show us your quote from Kingdom, we'll do our best to get you the same goods for the same or better price. Good luck getting your money back.

I have been dealing with Kingdom Interiors for many years now and over several moves to different houses. Anne, Jess and all the team are always very helpful (and patient!) with fabric and colour choices, styles of curtains and blinds and are very willing to help with any issues. Recently I needed full length curtains for my living room and I couldn't have asked for more from Kingdom Interiors. I am really happy with my beautiful curtains, they are very well made and look stunning. I'm sure they will be an asset to my house for many years. Anne offers a complete package and so they also came and hung them for me. I can highly recommend Kingdom Interiors, they take the stress out of buying new curtains and I have always been very happy with their work. I will not hesitate to go back to them again when I need new curtains, blinds or wall papers.

Quote from them.....Great customer service is very important to us, and we strive to reply to emails as quickly as we can, and within 24 hours (Monday - Friday). This is a total lie I have been trying to contact this "company" for 7 days, yes they have my money, I'm not confident about getting it back or receiving the goods that I paid for in early March. DO NOT SEND A PENNY TO THESE CROOKS YOU MAY AS WELL THROW IT DOWN A DRAIN

As per other comments- have recently (3rd March) ordered over 1000 fabrics from this company - charming staff, very helpful. Then nothing has arrived. Have called and emailed - no response. They are clearly no longer trading but still taking money. You try and support smaller businesses - & then this happens
