It is definitely a good alternative to Home Depot, as it stocks many different brands and models. However, when making a significant purchase, it is best to compare the products and prices at both stores. Also, keep in mind that many of the Lowe's stores are ex-Rona stores (including this one). As such, they are smaller in size and therefore selection may not be as wide.

During the lock down it was very good to work more with lowes cause whatever I can’t find in other stores I can find here. Price worthy stil my number 2 or 3 in rank.
I find it easy to get assistance from employees. Easy to maneuver the store with a wide selection of items. The staff seemed happy and friendly
Although there's multiple Lowes in the Ottawa area, this is my favorite. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Even though I'm a regular, they were eager to assist me from the get go
We ordered this swing and had it delivered with truck delivery. When we were assembling it we realized a few pieces were missing. I called this location and chatted with Paul in the seasonal department. Paul said to come on in and he would open up another one and get us any pieces we were missing. It was as simple as that. By the end of the day we had a fully assembled swing to enjoy.
