FOR CHELTENHAM BRANCH: As I’ve received a response thinking my two stars is mostly about not getting my way, let me amend my review. For the most part move estate agents has been very good, this was up until: There was also an incident where someone had entered my flat in a non-emergency situation and I received no notice at all. No 24 hour prior notice, which is legally required by the housing act, and no retroactive notification informing me someone had entered my flat that day. In fact, it was not until I approached them about a water bottle left and things left astray in my apartment did they mention someone had come in that day. They did nothing to rectify the situation after I notified them of my knowledge of what had happened. I asked what the emergency was since they entered without notification and they did not tell me there was any emergency. All they said was it won’t happen again. This situation was a total invasion of privacy and made me feel unsafe in my home. I did not leave immediately because my lease was not finished yet. The second issue I’ve had with them refers to furniture: You will be forced to live with the furniture, no matter how impractical, until they decide you can move it. Even though no where in the lease does it state you have to keep the furniture. The only thing addressed in the response was the aforementioned sofas, which I was never told I could pay and find a space for, I was told they were permanently with the apartment. I do understand I wanted the furniture over a year ago when I signed the lease however people do change their minds and with a global pandemic going on I would think some people would like a more comfortable living space, seeing as they will be spending most of their time in their home. The one positive is I had a leak in my flat which they did get fixed quickly, along with a leaky tap in the kitchen. I’m not wishing to bad mouth them I’m only attempting to leave an honest review of my experiences here.

I cannot recommend Move highly enough to everyone. They did an exceptional job for me on my house sale. Warren was very helpful throughout, from our first viewing and throughout, always being reliable and quick in answering questions and always responding promptly to queries.
