After reading all the great reviews I thought to give oxstalls lane fryer a go. Their online ordering system was great and my order was ready to collect within a minute of me arriving. However the food left a lot to be desired. The fish was overcooked, I could taste no vinegar on the chips despite ordering it and the curry sauce was bland. The burger and mushy peas were fairly good though.

Been going to Oxstalls Lane Fryer for years now and thought I'd write a review. Great service!! The staff are always really friendly and polite. The fish and chips are the best and the chicken nuggets are amazing as well, according to the kids. I don't think I've ever had a meal I wasn't happy with and there's not many places you can say that about. The Delivery service is great and always arrives earlier than expected. Thank you guys

Went there last night fish chips & curry sauce. Fish was lovely batter couldn't have been better. Chips and curry sauce fabulous really enjoyed it and thank you to the lovely friendly staff
