I've never felt compelled to write a review for a post office before but after seeing all the negative reviews I feel they are totally undeserved and I wanted to share my experience. I think, in the four years of living locally and using the post office on a fairly regular basis, I have only had a less than good experience in this post office once. Yes, some staff are friendlier than others but none are ever rude. For the people here writing negative reviews about having to wait - in my experience, the speed of transaction is normally the fault of the customer, not the person behind the desk - so why not use the tool above that tells you the times of the day that the shop gets busy?! Perfectly good post office and it's great you can post stuff outside of normal post office hours too!

Along with many other people I have found this post office uninviting and not very friendly. I have also been using this post office for a long period of time and have found the dark haired women to be unhelpful and quite rude and the other staff member not much better. Surely if you choose to work in a post office then customer service skills should be upmost important?! I also don’t think it’s professional that you can be made to wait while the colleagues finish up their conversation. Save that for your spare time!!

just awful, go to Brockworth instead - even with the time it takes to drive there it is still quicker. (To be honest, it would be quicker to go anywhere than wait here)

Have been here a lot recently to post parcels. To a post office. To post parcels. Well.....the looks I had when I turned up with 5 parcels and the awful customer service makes you wonder whether they realise that that is a main service of the post office...the place they work. The dark haired member of staff (female) is so miserable and barely speaks. Makes you feel very awkward. The other lady is better but still not v friendly. The young lads I've been served by before are much more pleasant. Unfortunately with so many post offices closed down there's not a lot of choice on where to go!

Went to Churchdown Post Office this morning and cannot believe to horrendous manner in which I was treated. I was served by an Asian lady who I can only describe as combative, unhelpfull, contrasending and frankly couldn't care less about how she speaks to Customers. If you want a good day turned into a bad day this is the place to go. Don't expect any help or any smiles.
