Small park. Lovely in the summer. Not a place for kids or dogs.

Really beautiful. No admission fees and photographi allowed. Parking is off street with pay and display. Reasonable parking charge.

I love the history behind this ruin. There isn't much left to see but if you have an interest in the history of King Alfred you may like to visit here as this was once the residence of his daughter and her husband.
