My mother passed the sign in station as she had used the app to sign in at the entrance. One of the Male staff shouted "Oi! SIGN IN" My mother explained that she had already done so and the man said " oh alright " no apology. Then when we ordered meals, as I was eating mine I came across a piece of plastic in my food. I called over the waiter and he apologised and explained that it was only a piece of packaging from the kitchen. He said we could all have a free drink. I wouldn't go there again and my parents feel the same way.

I know times are difficult but I would avoid this place as they only apply the rules that they want to, an absolute rubbish experience. We sat & ordered food and a drink on the app . After 10 minutes we asked a waitress if she could get our drinks & was told they would come at the same time as the food the food then arrived , with no drinks so I politely asked them to take my food back until my drink was ready ... waited another 5 minutes by which time my wife had nearly finished her meal, my food came back out with my drink... all through this people were wandering around with no masks on & there were obviously tables of people who were not family members ...will not be returning and really feel for the great British pub as they will all be closing down and all we will be left with is the diabolical soulless Wetherspoons brand

Went here with two friends for lunch. Used app to order food and drink. App use was good. Drinks arrived promptly (chosen beverage wasn’t available, but bar staff gave me some other options). Food arrived shortly after with a very generous portion of chips with the meal. Can’t fault the food service at all. Strict COVID rules weren’t that apparent at the bar with a few people drinking at bar (not being served). The pub number needs to be much more prominent for the contract tracking to be used.

Well run establishment conforming to covid rules. Excellent food and beer. Its a crying shame it has to close. If everywhere had behaved in a sensible way we could all be moving on to a bright future.

Lovely place, lovely staff. Ordered the chicken burger. Bun was brioche unfortunately (what's the deal with sweet bread and savoury fillings?) and the chicken was rubbery. First meal in Spoons that I didn't enjoy

A typical spoons pub! Beers good and plenty of choice at a good price. I've eaten there a few times, mainly breakfasts and have always had a decent meal. The staff on the whole are helpful.
