We had a wonderful meal here, i wasn't sure about their famous \3 shu\ pie but it was delicious. My husband had the chicken and leek pie and i had the steak and ale pie, both were amazing. Well worth a visit.

Passing the pub we decided to call in. Very friendly pub . We had one of their legendary Shoopie's each. A must as very tasty. Well worth the visit.

Although we arrived late for lunch service we were fed the most delicious homemade pies, a speciality of the pub. I had a good cider I'd never had before. Very friendly landlady. Will be visiting again as soon as lockdown is over.

nice and friendly. Family ambiance with the best pie cooked i have found in the region. nice fireplace if you have the opportunity to get you table close to it. Some board games for the children or books in order to discover this lovely town.

Great old fashioned country pub .Variety of beers..think they may have won an award for them???? Public bar that welcomes dogs at front. Snug lounge with comfy chairs at cushions at rear Lovely location on village green Really helpful friendly staff Wonderful pies with variety of fillings Spotless toilets Would definitly return
