A massive shout out to town cars in Churchdown.. I bought a car from them 6 months ago and today it wouldn’t start even after trying to jump start it! And when I called they came straight away and got it going then told me to take it to groves batteries and they would check my battery and if it needs a new one then they will foot the bill on there account not very often you revive such good customer service they truly have gone above and beyond my expectations Brilliant service

By far and away the worst car I've ever purchased. Bought a VW Golf Estate (62 plate) in March and I've had nothing but problems. It's been massively unreliable and I've since been told by several garages that the problems would have been clear even back when I purchased it. There has not been a month without a major issue - from the clutch to air conditioning to serious tracking issues which meant I went through 5 tires in the space of 6 weeks. There are numerous chewed (?) and frayed wires in the engine which have led to numerous other problems with the turbo, and the cooling system has also failed. I have spent over 3k on repairs for a car purchased for just under 5k and the problems show no sign of stopping. I sent an email through the website outlining my problems which was totally ignored. I feel very let down by Town Cars and do not think they are trustworthy at all. They are very good at getting you to buy a car and getting you off the forecourt, but once the car is purchased they do not care at all. The issues with the car would've been clear, but they would rather just have the money. If you choose to buy with them, make sure you do your research and - if possible - get an independent mechanic to thoroughly check the car before buying.

Second time buying from Town cars, and as usual the service is fantastic. Id say the best second hand car garage around. Very honest, go out of their way to help with any issues and sell very sound cars. Very well run family business and highly reccomend buying from them.

Town Cars is absolutely great. I've seen lots of car dealerships when looking for my car and the one that stood out to me was TownCars. Customer service was exceptional and the owner Doug is so true to his word. All the cars they sell are great and are well priced too. Town Cars to me is the best place to go in Gloucester if you need a great car, and the customer service and after sales care that comes with it.
