Staff are over worked and underpaid. Management have a strict one rule for you and another for them. If its not managers screaming at staff from the opposite end of the call floor its TLs from other teams handing out disciplinary hearings for being ill then giving you letters with other staff members medical issues. If you do intend to work for them what ever you do DO NOT be ill and hand in sickline because you will be fired. Training is 2 days (sometimes less) where you are not given full information needed. Then you are expected to be able to do the job that other staff members received a lot more training. Outside managers the staff are a great group of people who will help you if required. The owner is more interested in where his next pound is coming from rather than how his staff are treated. At interview and induction you are told that TLs and Managment will help you if you need anything (JUST DONT ASK CERTAIN ONES TO TAKE A MANAGER CALL). Staff aren't supposed to have mobile phones on them on call floor however managment constantly have theirs on them and make no effort to hide the fact that they use them. This is a major data protection breach. (Not the only one) All in all not a good company to work for.
In my previous role I worked closely with go-centric as the main client contact. They are an excellent team and a pleasure to work with. I think the company under new ownership is going places, and I really hope I get to work with them again in the future.
I used to work for the company and can say the people and culture make it such an enjoyable place to work. I had to leave due to childcare but if my circumstances were to change I would get back in touch with them.
What a deeply unpleasant company, or maybe it's just standard for the industry they are in.
