Highly recommend spending a day in Golden and walking the Clear Creek trail! Just a minute walk from mainstreet, there’s walking paths on both sides of the river which is nice. You’ll find many, many puppies in the park as well as elderly couples and families. Overall, everyone is in a good mood and very friendly. I recommend stopping by one of the restaurants in downtown, Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza is a hot spot!

Great place to go tubing, when the water is high enough. Also great for jogging or casual walks. It's very pet and bicycle friendly. There is a heritage sight near by so if you visit, please be respectful and keep the park clean.

We stayed at the RV park that's right along this park. We loved this park. There's a long path/trail that goes along the creek and is a great place to take a walk. Unfortunately, access to the creek was closed when we were there. I'm guessing this was related to Covid-19? The creek is really pretty and I love that this is right in downtown Golden. Definitely check it out if you're there.
Favorite park in Colorado! Great for tubing and walking. Dog friendly.
