I was driving home to Golden when my my drive belt started making an unpleasant sound. I'd just moved to Golden, looked up mechanics with good reviews, and was thrilled to see that the mechanic .5 miles from my house seemed great! I called, spoke with Alex on the phone, asked if he could take a look under the hood and give me a quick estimate of what might be going on. My wife and I have a roadtrip this weekend, I wanted to make sure the car is in good shape. Turns out my water pump failed, and coolant was dripping all over the drive belt. I would have left the car at the Corner Mechanic to do the work, except they're booked solid for the next 10 days. I'm taking my car to a different shop to get this piece of work done, but for the rest of the time I live in Golden (hopefully decades!), I'll be bringing my car to Corner Mechanic.

The Corner Mechanic was the only shop in the area that could get my car in quickly. They provided a quote within 20 minutes of my dropping off my car in the morning, quickly ordered the part they needed, and had my car ready by the early afternoon. They even charged me significantly less than their estimate, as the labor was less complex than expected. I greatly appreciated the quick and fair service!
The one mechanic I got seems a little inexperienced. Be wary of certain quotes.
Being from out of town I had no idea who was a good mechanic in Golden. So I googled to find the Corner Mechanic. Based on postings I took my Infinity to him. I have to say Joe was the most professional, honest, fair and hard working gentleman I without reservation would recommend Thehus shop. I only gave him 5 stars as a 10 isn't an option
