First I'd like to say that the PAs - Roberta and Lindsay are wonderful - 5 stars! Appointments are typically on time (before I started requesting a PA, we would wait for up to 45 minutes in our room!), informative, friendly, and thorough. However, having three kids under 5, I struggle with scheduling appointments. I was told that it's the parent's responsibility to remember to call and schedule well checks which of course I am a-ok with managing my kids' schedules and making sure I'm on top of that. But when I go in for Well Checks and try to schedule the next Well Check, the schedules aren't available and the parent should call back when they are available. I guess I just don't understand why there can't be some kind of technology such as a text messaging system to notify parents if they're due or overdue for a Well Check? Or the appointment isn't on the calendar, let's schedule one. I get appointment confirmations via text once scheduled - which is helpful! My pediatric dentist won't stop texting me and won't let us leave until our next 6 month cleanings are on the schedule. My child's hair salon texts me- looks like you might be due for a haircut! My pharmacist texts me - looks like you're due for a refill soon! The health system technology is available to help streamline this type of stuff. And improve the experience for everyone involved and help support parents without a heavy lift from the Office staff once the technology is set up.

We have been seeing Dr. Cambell for at least the last 5 years. This last visit I was charged extra for the \added office visit\ for my sons annual physical. I called and spoke with Samantha about this extra charge. I was informed because the Dr. discussed with my son about his acne and Tree nut allergies, and refilled his prescriptions, I was charged for 30 extra min of his time. Shouldn't this be included in a teenager annual physical? Isn't this your job as a Doctor at the annual physical exam to discuss his overall health including \pre existing conditions\? I am very disappointed. We always wait longer than our scheduled time for a provider to come in and see us, yet we never have complained. We will be finding a new provider who is willing to discuss and care for the WHOLE patient.

Dr. Hal Stein is simply the best. Our son was born 10 weeks early with a host of medical complications. Dr. Stein is always up to date on the latest test results from our son's specialists, takes the time to answer our questions, and responds to requests quickly. Also, he's just a kind, patient human being.
