I love this place. Peaceful place by the creek. A lot of green, many benches and places to sit, playground for the kiddos. Everything you'd want in a park this park provides. A solid 5/5

It was an awesome day! I seriously had an awesome time rafting down the river! Water was awesome. Slightly cold for a minute but once ya got a little wet it was just fine. The water level was a little low and a few times I had to get up and walk to a deeper spot. There were several big drops and caused me to capsize once but catching my tube wasn't a problem. Thank God for that because it was a rental. Can't say enough how much fun it was without rose colored glasses on.
One of the best parks I have visited. I remember visiting in 2015, and loving it since. Great atmosphere, and a beautiful view.
It's a great place to take your kids, no matter the age. It's a tremendous play! Love it!

Lions Park is a lovely place to relax under giant cottonwood trees for a family picnic or gathering. Tables with benches are available at no cost on a first come, first served, basis. Two covered pavilions with electrical service and with numerous tables are available for rent from the city of Golden at rec.cityofgolden.net. Access to Clear Creek and the amenities there including kayaking and inner tubing down the river are available during warmer months. Paths run along Clear Creek on each side from the city of Golden downtown all the way up to highway 6 and beyond.
Awesome park and is near the mountains so the view is amazing. Friendly people. I would definitely go back to that park because it's beautiful and the playground for kids is huge. There is a small and another tall playground for bigger kids. Had a great experience and its a beautiful small town where this park is. I would recommend it
Nice clean park! Nice people and atmosphere. It can get awfully crowed!
