The food was delicious and freshly made. My friend and I stopped at that place and thankfully my friend loved the food. We really enjoyed the beef booz (dumplings) and I enjoyed the Mongolian tea. You have to keep in mind though when you order booz it takes about 20 minutes to be served. They steam it for you as you order them and it takes 20 minutes. The waitress was nice and helpful. Highly recommend for those who seek quality food.

My mom and I usually drive close to 2 hours to go to this delicious restaurant!!! This is our favorite place to meet you with friends and we usually send people from out of town to go eat here. Their food is real authentic Mongolian food and is all to die for. Though they aren’t open for dine-in, before this pandemic my mom and I made it our mission to eat her at least 1 every two months. Absolutely amazing!!! ️

For the love of God, eat here! My bf is super stingy about restaurants, especially now with Covid. I dragged him in since he's so obsessed with putting the pinky up. He LOVED it! I live in Oregon and talk about this place alot, will for real come here the next time I'm in LA

This is the only mongolian restaurant in LA that doesn't only serve mongolian barbecue. Instead they have a fairly large menu with a lot of unique and authentic mongolian food. It is a great destination for adventurous foodies

Great spot. Really good, fresh, quality food. A lot of quality protein for a more-than-reasonable price.

Delicious and authentic Mongolian dishes made by Mongolians. I visited many Mongolian restaurants abroad, so far it's the best one. Highly recommended

MONGOLIA Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: If you have ever found yourself traveling through Mongolia, by train, bus, or even inside your own car, your most vivid memories probably all have the lingering scents of lamb dusted over them. The animal is a part of almost every meal, and is in various stages of being cleaned and cooked wherever you go. Opening the door of Golden Mongolian Restaurant is a pathway straight back to the country, starting with the aroma of lamb that hits your nose with that first step inside. Your chance to travel (back) to Mongolia is on Wilshire Blvd. a few blocks east of Koreatown and right on the border with Westlake, a tangle of construction sites and Southwestern Law School buildings. By the time you find parking, the area will seem very familiar. A dish that should probably be a part of any meal here is also listed first on the menu. The traditional lamb soup with dumplings (12.50) arrives with about eight of the dumplings (beef is also available) floating in a cloudy rich broth. Shaved pieces of lamb mostly sink to the bottom and should be scooped up by the spoonful. Recommended.
