Tonya's approach with clients is unique to their needs while also integrating her genuine care for their wellbeing. She helps clients feel welcome and safe to share their struggles. Tonya is a wonderful licensed psychologist who is also extremely approachable and well-versed in a variety of areas including all types of eating disorders and utilization of animal assisted therapy. She can help both individuals and families . Tonya navigates complex cases with ease where other providers typically shy away. I strongly recommend Tonya McFarland!

My family and I went to see Dr. McFarland on Monday 8/8/16. My experience of her was she has not done enough work to contain psychological defensives. Her ability to contain my family members anger and rage was marginal; she had no capacity to hold me or family member accountable in the moment for any feelings other than anger. This led to my family's defensiveness/reactiveness running the show. If you are looking to transcend family problems I would not see Dr. McFarland.
