As we were instructed by U-Haul to find a technician to check out our hitch wiring, I called several U-Haul places to schedule. When several places either did not answer or had no technician available, I discovered on Google Maps, U-Haul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Golden. Since I was close by I just stopped in. I’m ashamed to have forgotten their names, but the two gentlemen working were extremely helpful. One came and inspected our cars wiring AND assembled the ball and joint. I would’ve picked out the wrong thing if it had been up to me. Excellent customer service, which can be seriously lacking these days. Thanks guys!

I hope you the consumer, find this poor review useful. I am a career logistics professional and I give my experience “0 Stars” with U-Haul Trailer Hitch Super Center of Golden 15498 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401 I completed online-scheduling with over a week’s notice for an early-morning trailer hitch installation. With such advance notice, pre-payment, and confirmed receipt it fit my professional schedule. At 4:50 p.m. the evening prior to appointment day I received a personal phone call from the location confirming an erroneous time later (much later) in the day. When I stated a delay wouldn’t work, I was offered an entirely different appointment day that exceeded my calendar schedule completely. I understand backlog but I established over a week’s appointment notice using their own protocol and pre-paid, and I received a notice of appointment change 14 hours out. And I received it in an underwhelming and unprofessional phone call with blame shifting to other employees with statements such as “someone should have” … Bottom line; if you have a schedule to work with you can't be confident that this service provider is going to keep their end of their business process. I can’t vouch for their labor and equipment quality, as my appointment wasn’t conducted. The process of a refund then had to be conducted and after being in a phone que with this same location for \u003e10 minutes, the call transferred to a customer service representative who offered to do my refund. Pending that result. You might consider Draw-Tite, The Hitch Corner, or other trailer (RV) locations for your hitch installation needs.
