Rode an hour and a half there to view a John Deere x500. When I got there, the two salesman both were out. Luckily one of the kind gentleman contacted one of the salesman and he located the mower. I admit the mower was used but it looked worse in person The gentleman was able to jump start the mower and the engine ran decent. The deck would not lock into place and the transmission when in reverse seemed to slip. The seat was beaten up and needed to be replaced. I had seen enough and decided to leave. I did contact Keith to see if he would come down to 500 and he stated he had more in the mower than that and would not come. Yes the mower is used, yes it needs a good bit of work done to it. However, I felt after making the drive, now 3 hours, there could be have been some concession, but no. I would not buy from there based on my experience.

Hello Friends. I have always been a firm believer in passing it forward and recognizing those for a job well done. It is something that was instilled within me by my parents and it stuck. With that in mind, please let me share a recent experience with you. About 18 years ago I purchased a John Deere Lawn Tractor. It has served me well but it was time to retire the old workhorse and get a new one. The first person I thought of was Keith Lane. Keith is not only a good friend and a great person, he just happens to work at Quality Equipment, LLC in Goldsboro, NC, a John Deere Dealer! I contacted Keith about my needs. He was more than helpful, very patient, and knew exactly what I needed....Here is the \passing it forward\ part. I could have just as easily purchased my new Lawn Tractor locally here in Charlotte, NC but knowing Keith the way I do, it was well worth the 8 hour round trip from Charlotte, NC to Goldsboro, NC to do business with a friend. Thanks for everything Keith! You are awesome in my book!!
Went in to look at a mower, wanted information mostly as i plan to purchase in the next 2 weeks. \Salesmen\ were out and I felt like I wasn't important enough for anyone else to help since I was turned away. I went elsewhere and got the information i needed. I will not be purchasing anything here
