Excellent doctors! Terrible customer service, Was 10-15 mins early for my appointment in a very hot afternoon sent back by receptionist to come back on time. I pointed out that there is hardly any patient at that time and it’s just 15 mins but she didn’t let me stay anyway i said ok and went out. I had to wait 2-3 hrs to see the doctor on that day. This was in January.Last week for another appointment went 10-15 mins late doctor was already running late. You know what the doctor’s assistant told me you will be seeing the doctor last as you are late. I said but the doctor or you didn’t have to wait for me as one patient arrived before me was yet to see her before seeing doctor but very stubbornly she said it’s not fair for person arriving on time. If doctor is running late every patient has to suffer for 10 mins late you find an excuse to make someone suffer extra. I can understand if person is too late and it waisted there time but if they are already running what a shame this is to do something like this. Felt terrible!

My daughter is a patient at Gordon Eye Surgery under Professor John Grigg. I have found all the administration staff, Orthoptists and Ophthalmologists to be really amazing. They are efficient and very friendly. Highly recommended!!

There are a lot of staff service a few doctors, and some times you can bump into a unplesant staff. However, their tests are more thorough and Dr Chua is just one of the most brillaint surgeon in thr field.

I had an appointment today at 11 am with Sara Booth Mason. I turned up at the surgery without the referral from my GP (yes, my fault). The woman at the counter said that without the referral, Sara could not see me. My GP's surgery said they could fax a copy immediately after lunch and advised her that this was a routine review. I said that I would provide the referral immediately after my appointment, if after lunch was not acceptable. The woman simply said "you will have to book another time" It appears that the reception staff have no idea about serving customers and behave as though they are a law unto themselves. Very disappointing! Will never visit Sara Booth Mason ever again! Sara is a Ophthalmologist with a successful track record but her support staff let her down.

A dramatically impersonal and unhelpful practice from the ’too busy to care’ administration staff to the Doctors that fail to spend time really diagnosing you, and then take a month to write up their review letter. This practice is full of Drs there, just 1 day a week and who work in other practices all over Sydney, leaving patients floundering at the hands of the disrespectful office staff. My family member was completely misdiagnosed at this practice, left without treatment and then labelled as having a ”functional disorder”! In other words they labelled her loss of sight as psychological! Such apallingly poor care. A humble Optometrist picked up on the glaucoma a week later, that 2 professors here failed to identify. They then refused to release the medical records! This practice has been noted to the HCCC for its poor standards of care. I'd advise anyone who actually wants good eye care to find somewhere else. Our experience with these people has been a nightmare of epic proportions and the treatment so unprofessional.
